Это Антикварный старинный принт! Это не современный постер! Название: Россия: костюмы мужчин и женщин #4. Women from Torjok. The standard item of dress is a straight garment gathered in with a belt of Asiatic origin. It is sleeveless, so the sleeves of the under-garment, called a brauerie, can be seen. De Rechberg says that in general the long dress, with an opening at the front, is fastened with metal buttons. He also says that the wives of the better-off shopkeepers and peasants wear a type of short cloak and a bonnet called a tchepetz, with silver and gold embroidery and sometimes decoration of lace or a skein of fine pearls. Torjuk is essentially an agricul tural region. The peasants wear short clothes made from coarse cloth. No. 4 is an exception, as she is wearing a loose-fitting, sleeveless robe gathered in at the waist. These peasants had to wear many layers of clothing as well as extremely thick stockings and large shoes to ward off the cold. Far from hiding these rather ungainly items, though, the ladies in 1 & 3 have relatively high hemlines. 2 A Tartar woman, whose costume is strikingly different from those described above. Both her over- and under-garments are made from striped silk. The former, a type of enveloping veil, is slashed so that the embroidered sleeves of the under-garment can pass through. Tartars wear baggy pantaloons. Poor women would wear the same type of clothes as in our example, but they would be made from nankeen rather than silk. 7 An unusual costume, perhaps a wedding outfit. According to one source, the large transparent veil, embroidered with small flowers and edged with silk, is a worn as a protection against the mosquitoes. 8,10 and 11 Working women, wearing large aprons with the tops of their bonnets covered with a pieces of material that are wrapped around their neck. Even the little boy in his mother's arms is wearing this headgear. The short cloaks are sometimes worn without sleeves with just an opening for the arms (2) or with sleeves that are the same length as the garment itself (5). More usually, (10), they do not have sleeves at all and resemble capes.. Год: 1888. Тип: Литография, ручная раскраска акварелью
